Psalm Chapter 150

Praise the Lord!

Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heaven! Praise Him for His mighty works; praise His unequal greatness! Praise Him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise Him with the lyre and harp! Praise Him with the tambourine and dancing; praise Him with the strings and flutes! Praise Him with a clash of cymbals; praise Him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praise to the Lord!

Praise the Lord!

Psalm Chapter 145

I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise Your name forever and ever. I will praise You every day; yes, I will praise You forever. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure His greatness.

Let each generation tell its children of Your mighty acts; let them proclaim Your power. I will meditate on Your majestic glorious splendor and Your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim Your greatness. Everyone will sing with joy about Your goodness; they will sing with joy about Your righteousness.

The Lord is merciful and compassionated, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is good to everyone. He shows compassion to all His creation. All of Your works will thank You, Lord, and Your faithful followers will praise You. They will speak of of glory of Your kingdom; they will give examples of Your power. They will tell about Your mighty deeds and about the majesty and glory of Your reign. For Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. (vv. 1-13, NLT)

Psalm Chapter 143

Come quickly, Lord, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die. Let me hear of your unfailing lover each morning, for I am trusting in You. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to You. Rescue me from my enemies, Lord; I run to You to hide me. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your gracious spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. For the glory of Your name lead me forward on a firm footing. Because of Your faithfulness, bring me out of this distress. In Your unfailing love, silence all my enemies and destroy all my foes, for I am Your servant. (vv. 7-12, NLT)

Psalm Chapter 141

Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips. Don’t let me drift toward evil or take part in acts of wickedness. Don’t let me share in the delicacies of those who do wrong.

Let the godly strike me! It will be a kindness! If they correct me, it is soothing medicine. Don’t let me refuse it. (vv. 3-5, NLT)

Psalm 139

O Lord, You have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You have seen me travel and whenI rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place Your hand of blessing on my head. such knowledge is to wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! (vv. 1-6, NLT)

You made the night shines as bright as day. Brightness and light are the same to You. You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was won together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day passed. How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, You are still with me. (vv. 13-18, NLT)

Search me , O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. (vv. 23-24, NLT)

Psalm Chapter 138

I give You thanks, O Lord, with all my heart; I will sing Your praises before the gods. I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise Your name for your unfailing love and and faithfulness; for Your promises are backed by all the honor of Your name. As soon as I pray, You answer me; You encourage me by giving me strength. (vv. 1-3, NLT)

Though I am surrounded by troubles, You will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach our Your hand, and the power of Your right hand saves me. The Lord will work out His plans for my life-for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for You made me. (vv. 7-8, NLT)

Psalm Chapter 130

From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for You for help. Hear my cry, O Lord! Pay attention to my prayer. Lord, if You kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive! But You offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear You.

I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am I am counting on Him. I have put my hope in His word. I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.

O Israel, hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows. He Himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.

Psalm Chapter 127

Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning to late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God give rest to His loved ones.

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward for him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is a man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.

Psalm Chapter 123

I lift my eyes to You, O God, enthroned in heaven. We keep looking to the Lord our God for His mercy, just as servants keep their eyes on their master, as a slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal. Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy, for we have had our fill of contempt. We have had more than our fill of the scoffing of the proud and the contempt of the arrogant. (vv. 1-4, NLT)

Psalm Chapter 121

I look to the mountains-does my help come from them? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let you stumble; the One who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, He who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.

The Lord Himself watches over you! The Lord stands besides you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, not the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
